e-torch's F&B module centralises food and beverage order management, stock tracking, and sales analytics for live events.
What is e-torch F&B management?
It replaces WhatsApp groups, radio calls, and printed order forms with a centralised digital system that gives every team member and manager a live view of orders, stock, and activity across all bar and kitchen locations.
What problems does this module solve?
The most common pain points addressed:
- Running out of stock mid-event — live inventory tracking and low-stock alerts prevent stockouts before they happen
- Siloed ordering between locations — centralised order management stops one bar over-ordering while another runs dry
- No sales data during the event — real-time sales figures let you redirect stock and staff proactively
- Manual handoffs causing delays — digital order flows with automatic routing reduce errors and wait times
- No accountability trail — every order is logged with who, what, when, and where for post-event review
- Getting real-time insights in losses - See where you are losing revenue, giving the option to take action on the spot
Does it work across multiple bar and foodstands?
Yes. Multi-location support is a core feature. Each bar, foodstand, or point of sales has its own configuration, while managers maintain a unified central view across all locations simultaneously.
Can staff use the module on mobile devices?
Yes. It's fully mobile-optimised. Staff can take orders, check stock levels, and receive notifications from any smartphone or tablet.
Does it provide real-time stock tracking?
Yes. Inventory levels update live as orders are placed and stock is consumed. The system sends automatic low-stock alerts so your team can restock proactively rather than reactively.
What kind of analytics does it provide?
It turns order data into actionable insights:
- Which products are selling fastest at each location
- Consumption vs. stock comparison across the event
- Free giveaways vs. paid sales breakdown
- Historical comparisons between events
As one Suikerrock volunteer noted: "By combining the order history and the sales component, we could tell which drinks and how many were given away for free. Something we couldn't do without e-torch."
Can it handle a festival the size of Rock Werchter?
Yes. it has been used at Rock Werchter, one of Belgium's largest music festivals, with hundreds of staff across multiple stages and zones. The platform is designed for high-volume, high-pressure environments.
